Tree falls onto house in Everett; Strong winds concern for western Washington Monday

A tree toppled over onto a house in Everett Monday afternoon.

It happened on the homeowner’s land in the 1400 block of Rainier. Luckily, no one was hurt, according to Everett fire officials.

KOMO News is working to gather more information about what happened and if any power lines were involved.

The tree came down amid heightened concerned that this current round of severe weather is bringing more rain to the region, but also stronger winds than last week.

A third atmospheric river moved into western Washington Monday morning. A second, stronger push of weather will happen Tuesday night.

Each will bump river levels back up again, with them re-cresting on Wednesday, but not at the levels seen last week.
