‘I came all this way’: Lewis Capaldi confronts Aussie crowd after one question from fan

Lewis Capaldi confronted the crowd at his recent Aussie gig after a fan yelled out a question about another celebrity.
The Scottish musician, who has travelled Down Under for a string of shows, was addressing the audience in a song break when an audience member asked about his good friend, One Direction star Niall Horan.
“Where’s Niall?” the fan yelled out from the crowd.

Capaldi jokingly called out the fan with an impassioned response, appearing frustrated that they were focusing on Horan rather than the musician standing in front of them.
”Where’s Niall? I don’t know, at his f–king house. I don’t know,” he said frankly.
“Listen, I f–king came all this way. Forget Niall,” he continued, as the audience burst into laughter.
Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi have been very close friends since they first connected in 2017.

The comment came as Capaldi spoke to the crowd in what some fans referred to as his stand-up comedy special.
Another fan asked the singer about his recent trip to Australia Zoo, which he sang praises about.
“How was the zoo? The zoo was great. Thank you very much,” he said.

The moment comes after the singer recently heckled a couple at another Australian show.
A man at Capaldi’s Sydney concert popped the question to his partner mid-show, prompting the Scottish singer to call them out for “taking the shine off me”.
“That’s enough, put the cameras back on me,” the singer joked as the audience laughed.
”How dare you come here and propose! This is my show.”
He then joked that the proposal may have been in poor taste, as the audience was likely filled with heartbroken fans.
“There’s a lot of single, sad people at my shows as well, so you just f–king showed them what true love is and now almost 20,000 people hate you,” he joked.
He then took a moment to be earnest, offering the couple his congratulations and joking that he’ll be waiting for a wedding invite.

He will perform in Melbourne tonight and tomorrow night before heading to Adelaide and Perth next week.
