Hart on win and knockout basketball

Josh Hart had one of his best offensive performances of his season, with 21 points while going 4-for-7 from 3-point range. He caught up with Amazon Prime after the Knicks’ big win …
💬 “We knew it was gonna be a tough one. Obviously, this is a good team, good coach. So we knew we had to be ready. They came out in the first quarter, played great, but defensively, the second quarter was amazing. We only gave up 13 points and that’s really where we were able to build our lead and put the game away.”
And Hart on how his experience winning a knockout-style tournament with Villanova in 2016 prepared him for a tournament like this …
💬 “It’s just not looking too far ahead. It’s about winning every game, winning every possession. If you do that, you get to the end goal, but you can’t look past anybody. You can’t look past Toronto, you can’t look past Orlando. So we gotta make sure we take care of what’s in front of us.”
