Earthquake Shakes Inland Empire

DEVORE, CA — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake shook the Inland Empire on Tuesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck shortly after 8 p.m. and occurred just over 4 miles south-southwest of Devore. It had a depth of more than 4 miles and was felt across the area, including in Corona, Rialto, San Bernardino, Bloomington, Riverside and Fontana, according to the survey.
3.0-magnitude earthquakes are considered minor and are typically felt by many but rarely cause damage.
