Watch: Melania Trump’s New Movie Trailer

A new trailer for “MELANIA” dropped on Wednesday, a movie that follows First Lady Melania Trump behind the scenes of her life as she prepares to enter the White House once again in the 20 days before her husband’s second inauguration. The movie is due in theaters on January 30.
“For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold—a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming First Lady of the United States of America,” the first lady told Fox News.
In an earlier appearance on Fox & Friends, Melania Trump, 55, described the project as an intimate look at her responsibilities and private life.
The documentary, directed by Brett Ratner, will also feature appearances by President Donald Trump and their son, Barron.
It was acquired by Amazon MGM Studios for a reported $40 million, one of the largest known licensing deals for a political documentary. It will also have a limited theatrical run before debuting on Amazon’s streaming platform, Prime Video.
The film’s announcement back in January, before President Trump’s inauguration, reflected a notable shift in relations between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Trump.
Amazon increased alignment with the incoming administration, pledging $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund.
Bezos, who previously faced criticism from Trump over Amazon and Washington Post coverage, had expressed optimism about potential regulatory changes in the second term.
His earlier decision not to allow the Post to endorse a presidential candidate led to subscription cancellations and staff departures, including a cartoonist who quit after an editor rejected her sketch of media executives with the president-elect.
Ratner’s Hollywood career stalled after sexual misconduct allegations, which he has denied.
Melania Trump is credited as an executive producer, and she announced in November the launch of Muse Films, her new production company, linking it to the forthcoming “MELANIA” film.
It is unclear whether Muse Films was directly involved in the documentary’s production or if it will mainly serve as a branding vehicle for future projects.
This is a breaking news story. Updates to follow.
