Women’s Champions League predictions

There are three English teams in action in the final round of league stage matches in the Women’s Champions League on Wednesday night and the most competitively priced match is Manchester United’s visit to Juventus.

The Red Devils produced a remarkable comeback from 3-0 down with 15 minutes to go against Tottenham at the weekend to secure a 3-3 draw in the WSL.

They will be hoping that result acts as a catalyst for victory in Turin against a Juve side who have won three of their five Champions League matches and held eight-time winners Lyon to a draw, while their only defeat came at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Marc Skinner’s side won their first three European matches but since then have suffered a 5-2 defeat to Wolfsburg and a 3-0 loss against Lyon.

Those defeats are part of a recent trend of United looking extremely leaky at the back and it may be worth siding with goals in this one.

The visitors have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last nine matches and have shipped 15 in their last five outings.

Juve’s five European games have produced 20 goals and this could be another to go over 3.5 goals.

Elsewhere Chelsea put their unbeaten Champions League record on the line at Wolfsburg while Arsenal are also a short price to get the better of Oud-Heverlee Leuven on the road.
