How to watch Florida basketball today vs St. Francis, TV channel, live stream, time

Listen to what Florida basketball coach Todd had to say about UF’s final non-conference games

Florida basketball coach Todd Golden spoke about the Gators’ final non-conference games.

After 26 days, Florida basketball will finally return to the confides of the O’Dome.

The No. 21 Gators (6-4) will host Saint Francis (2-9) on Wednesday, Dec. 17, as Florida comes off an 80-70 win over George Washington and the Red Flash most recently suffered a 95-67 loss to Temple.

This is St. Francis’ final season as a member of Division I basketball as the school announced its intention to drop down to Division III, despite the program reaching the NCAA tournament in 2024. St. Francis has yet to earn a win against a Division I opponent.

The Red Flash are led by Skylar Wicks, who has averaged 18.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

“They have some good guards that can put the ball in the basket,” Florida coach Todd Golden said. “Their leading scorer’s shooting above 40 (percent) from three. So he’s a guy that can hurt you, if you’re not accountable on the scouting report. But a team that, like anybody else, we’re going to respect them, but not fear them.

“But just like any Division I team, if you don’t respect them and if you don’t play hard, they can get you. If we play the way we’re capable of, I think we’ll be in good shape.”

The only other meeting between the two schools came back in 1994, which featured Dan Cross scoring 21 points for the Gators.
