The 9 BBC and ITV stars who were on TV much too often in 2025

I, for one, have noticed the same familiar faces grace my TV screen over the years. When I’m not watching Netflix or Amazon Prime, my primary sources of entertainment are the BBC and ITV. Both are cultural institutions, each with its own stand-out shows, such as I’m A Celebrity, Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent, and The Traitors. There seems to be an endless number of quiz shows, too. But one thing strikes me more: the hosts are always the same.
Bradley Walsh, Alison Hammond, and Michael McIntyre are just three of the many TV personalities who have become household names in the UK. They seem to be everywhere.
We have rounded up nine celebrities and hosts who appeared on TV far too often in 2025. I won’t be surprised if Bradley Walsh keeps fronting The Chase until he’s 90 years old.
8. Amanda Holden
Amanda has worked on some big shows this year besides Britain’s Got Talent. She’s got another renovation series with Alan Carr coming to the BBC, and she recently fronted a brand-new game show: The Inner Circle.
She also hosted a new controversial dating series, called Cheated: Unfinished Business. She has so many hosting gigs under her belt that I don’t know how she still finds time to do her radio gig at Heart FM.

7. Bradley Walsh
If you don’t know Bradley Walsh, he presents not one but several television shows, including the BBC’s Gladiators, Blankety Blank, and Breaking Dad, with his son Barney.
He is also best known for hosting ITV’s game show The Chase and its spin-off, Beat the Chasers. W

6. Alison Hammond
The same goes for Alison Hammond, who fronts four shows, including This Morning, For The Love of Dogs, and The Great British Bake Off.
If she potentially gets chosen for the Strictly Come Dancing gig, she could have the possibility of having five shows to present next year, which feels a bit excessive even for such a bubbly personality as her.
