Stephen Bradley insists that Shamrock Rovers will not repeat the mistakes made by rivals in the past and spend big on importing talent from abroad in an attempt to make a bigger splash in Europe.

The Hoops pull down the curtain on their campaign in the Conference League group phase tomorrow night when they host Hamrun Spartans – the first Maltese club to make the group stage of Uefa competition – with, what Bradley admits is, a disappointing haul of one point from five games and no chance of progress to the knockout phase.
