Grayson Allen questionable for Suns-Warriors on Thursday

Suns guard Grayson Allen (right knee soreness) is out for Phoenix’s home game against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Allen had started all six games since returning from a quad contusion on Nov. 29, except for the first matchup of the season with the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 1, which he missed due to illness. He was listed as questionable on Wednesday’s injury report before being downgraded prior to tipoff.
He most recently played 35 minutes in Sunday’s loss to L.A. and finished with 13 points, seven assists and three steals.
The 13-point total was Allen’s best since returning from the contusion, and the 36.4% he shot was tied for the best in that stretch as well.
Two-way forward Isaiah Livers, who is dealing with a right hip strain, was also ruled out for the game. He has not logged minutes since Nov. 26.
Reserve guard Jordan Goodwin (jaw sprain) will be available but will wear a mask for protection.
Goodwin has played in all of Phoenix’s games since Oct. 31 and most recently had five points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 18 minutes against the Lakers.
Two-way guard Koby Brea was ruled out Wednesday (G League).
Golden State will continue to be without Al Horford (sciatic nerve irritation), who has not played since Dec. 4 and was averaging a career-worst 5.6 points in a career-low 21.5 minutes per game.
Seth Curry, brother of Stephen Curry, was a late addition to the injury report on Thursday and was ruled out due to left glute injury management.
Warriors two-way guard Pat Spencer (personal), who had scored in double digits in five of the last six contests, will also not play.
