Gamers were reporting issues with the popular online game late on Thursday, December. 18, according to DownDetector.com. Around 11:30 p.m., over 16,000 users were experiences issues, with nearly 50% saying they had trouble accessing the website. Users were getting error message when clicking on Roblox.com. Roblox has nearly 83 million daily active users.

Due to the widespread Roblox outage, thousands of users were unable to log in or play. Error code 9007 popped up everywhere, blocking folks from jumping into matches or even loading the site. Users took to social media to report login failures, slow loading times, and disconnections during gameplay.

Why is Roblox down?

According to multiple outage tracking websites, many gamers were repeatedly met with the error code 9007. The error prevented the gamers from accessing games or joining servers.
