Good Friday morning! The rain has moved out of here, but cold air is racing in. Temperatures are plummeting and falling below freezing for the rest of the day. Be careful for icy spots as untreated wet surfaces refreeze this morning. Bridges and overpasses will ice over first, but also be mindful of steps, decks, and driveways as well. We do have strong winds out of the west trying to dry off the surfaces, but any lingering wet spots will likely become ice. Temps will be in the lower 20s most of the day with wind chills in the teens thanks to 15-25+ mph winds out of the west. We will have flurries or light snow this morning with cloudy skies then sun will try coming out this afternoon as the winds slowly settle down to a brisk breeze. Partly cloudy and cold tonight with a low temp around 21.
The weekend will be chilly and dry. Saturday will start cold, but we warm up to a high around 45 with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will start with some clouds early then become mostly sunny. Temps on Sunday will start with a morning low around 27 then only warming to a high around 33, so not much of a warmup on Sunday. Decent weather to run some errands or travel but just a little chilly.
