White Christmas: Will there be one in 2025?

It’s predicted that there will be cold air from Scandinavian countries like Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

It’s likely to bring showers, that could turn to sleet or snow in some eastern areas.

That means there COULD be a white Christmas somewhere in the UK, but for many of us it’s unlikely.

The last time snow fell on Christmas day in the UK was 2023, with 11 percent of weather stations reporting snow falling, although none reported snow lying on the ground.

Historically it’s more likely to snow later on in winter than in December, so it’s rare for there to be lots of snow in time for Christmas.
