South Africa tumbled in the recently concluded ODI series as they lost 2-1 against the hosts, just weeks after historically winning the Test series 2-0 on Indian soil after 25 years.

The Proteas hoped to bounce back in the first match of the T20I series, however, they suffered an embarrassing 101-run defeat as they were bowled out for 74 runs in Cuttack.

The visitors, though, bounced back in style as they registered a thumping win in the second T20I, only to slip once again in Dharamshala in the third match of the series.
