If you’re having issues posting on Reddit or even browsing various subreddits this December 19, it’s not just you, as the social platform is having issues loading, or if it loads, it’s extremely slow and times out.
We noticed the outage ourselves just now, and it seems to be happening worldwide.

Update: It seems the platform is back up!
We noticed Reddit slow on our end just now, with the platform having issues loading various subreddits or even with submissions. This is happening on both the mobile app and the browser version, and it’s affecting users worldwide.
So far, Reddit has not acknowledged the outage, but we suspect that should change soon. If we see an update from Reddit or if it’s back up, we’ll update the article with the info.
