The 2025-2026 College Football Playoff bracket is set and it’s time to go through each team and highlight prospects who could be potential targets for the Green Bay Packers in the 2026 NFL Draft.
During the 2025 NFL Draft, the Packers selected three players who competed in the 2024-2025 College Football Playoffs. Brian Gutekunst selected two Texas Longhorns and one Georgia Bulldog.

Could he draft any Miami Hurricanes in April? The Hurricanes are the No. 10 seed and will square off against Texas A&M on Saturday at 11 a.m. They have a trio of defensive line prospects who could be on Green Bay’s board.
Akheem Mesidor, Edge
The pressure king. The 6-2, 273-pound defensive lineman enters the playoffs with 44 pressures to his name and he’s recorded at least one pressure in each game and he’s recorded four or more pressures in six of the 11 games he’s played in this season. To go along with all those pressures, Mesidor has 12 tackles for loss, seven sacks and 20 run stops. He rushes the passer with violence, power and a relentless motor.
Ahmad Moten Sr, DT
Moten is a powerful presence on the interior of Miami’s defensive line. He’s a light-footed 325-pound defensive tackle with exceptional first-step quickness. To go along with that initial quickness, Moten is strong, drawing power from his legs and upper half. He flashes wrecking ball tendencies and enters the playoffs with 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and 24 pressures.
David Blay Jr, DT
Blay is a stout run defender. He may not make the splash play, but he is difficult to uproot. The Miami defensive tackle is expected to make his return to the field for Saturday’s matchup after missing time due to injury. Blay is burly and has the contact balance to work through contact to get his hands on the ball carrier.

James Brockermeyer, C
A transfer from Alabama and TCU, Brockermeyer enters the playoffs with 24 starts at center under his belt. During his first season with the Hurricanes, Brockermeyer has given up zero sacks and 10 pressures. He has a high football IQ and is alert in protection. The Packers could be in the market for a new center or a backup and Brockermeyer could be a late Day 3 target.
