Down to earth star Sam Ryder will celebrate the launch of his new album Heartland by treating himself to a new Lego set. The chart-topping Eurovision star admitted there’s nothing he likes more than sitting down and re-creating scenes, and tech from his all-time favourite fantasy films.
Asked what his next big purchase will be following the release of his epic new LP, and Sam exclaimed: “Lego! So much Lego. I reckon I could fill an Amazon wish list just with Lego sets to be honest.
“There’s some amazing Star Wars Lego and I’ve got my eye on this Lord Of The Rings set too.”

It’s not the first time he’s splashed out on a Lego set post release, the Space Man singer previously revealed he spent a pretty penny on a Lego Millennium Falcon from Star Wars when he landed a No1 with his debut album in 2022.
Sam’s been in a long-term relationship for over a decade with partner Lois Gaskin-Barber but his album has plenty to offer for anyone heartbroken.
On his heartbreak tips, Sam said: “My number one tip is to avoid heartbreak altogether.
“If you can’t avoid it, it’s cliche I know, but music is a great healer.
“There will always be a song that will make you feel seen and heard, or a song you can cry to, or laugh to, or dance around your kitchen to.”

Next month Sam will play his biggest ever headline show at London’s Wembley Arena and he has something special in store for one very lucky fan.
He teased: “Wembley Arena was where I saw my first live show as a kid, so it felt right that we chose to play there.
“I went to see Sum41 and still have the ticket to this day, so I know what seat number I was sat in!
“So we’re definitely going to do something special for whoever is in that seat!”
Heartland is out now, speaking about the project he said: “The creation of this album came along at a time where my light felt like it was dimming the most.
“I hauled myself and my family over to Nashville, pitched up at our log cabin in the trees, and started writing it out with friends surrounding me.

“It’s an emotional experience hearing it back, each song a chapter of the year and a half it took to create, marking pivotal moments of transformation and change in my life. One thing has stayed constant throughout though – a thread of hope keeping this project alive and my head above water.
“I hope these songs bring you the peace they were crafted with, and that you take them on your next chapters.”
