Golden Knights F Mark Stone out week-to-week with wrist injury

The Vegas Golden Knights will be without the services of captain Mark Stone for the foreseeable future as the veteran forward is considered week-to-week with a wrist injury, head Bruce Cassidy confirmed to the media on Monday.

Stone left Saturday’s 6-1 rout of the Calgary Flames due to the wrist injury.

The 33-year-old native of Winnipeg has had a great start to the 2025-26 season, netting two goals and 11 assists over six games.

Stone, who has dealt with numerous injuries in recent years, is playing his seventh season with the Golden Knights and is coming off a 2024-25 campaign in which he recorded a career-best 67 points (19 goals and 48 assists) over 66 games.

Stone is making $9.5 million this season and will be a free agent following the 2026-27 season.

The 4-0-2 Golden Knights have yet to drop a game in regulation this season and host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
