Travel information: Southampton

Read below for all the travel information ahead of City’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Southampton on Tuesday, October 21st (8pm).

MATCHDAY BUS

Our matchday shuttle buses will be operating as follows:

  • AG1 Portway Park & Ride (via Portway) – approx. every 10 minutes
  • AG2 Brislington Park & Ride (direct service) – approx. every 12 minutes
  • AG3 Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the centre) – approx. every 20 minutes

All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. Full details including route maps, timetables, pricing and ticket information is available at www.bcfc.co.uk/travel

Please Note: Ongoing works to the Portway, A4, may create possible delays along this route. The AG1 will operate as usual but fans are recommended to allow extra time when using this route to ensure they reach the stadium at their desired time.

RAIL

Post-match there will an additional departure from Parson Street to Weston Super Mare at 22.24.

WALKING/CYCLING

free Dr Bike service will be running at this fixture. If you have a bike that is in need of minor repairs or a general check-over, head to the South Stand bike racks where a mechanic will be able to check your bike over for free! 

Fans walking or cycling from the city centre and harbourside are advised that Vauxhall Bridge is closed for repairs. Gaol Ferry Bridge and Bedminster Bridge remain open. Full details visit Restoration of New Cut bridges (bristol.gov.uk)

CAR

Works on the A370 at Somerset Avenue will mean a road closure is in place from 8pm which may impact fans travelling back from the game.
