With her self-deprecating humour and candidly talking about menopause symptoms, Bianca Dye undoubtedly caught our attention during The Golden Bachelor 2025 premiere.
The radio personality from Queensland is hoping to find love with Bachelor Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden, a 61-year-old father of three.

Who is Bianca Dye?
Before Bianca was competing for love on The Golden Bachelor, she was working in radio. But we delve into her career further later.
But as someone in the public eye, Biana has been on a mission to talk candidly about mental health, love, and IVF.
Just last year, Bianca was adamant on proving life doesn’t stop at 50 – a move she is proving by partaking on The Golden Bachelor.

“I know what I bring to the table, I know my strengths, I know my weaknesses, and I’m happy to be open about all of them. I wouldn’t have had that when I was younger, this beautiful confidence that you have at 50,” she told QWeekend.
She was previously diagnosed with anxiety and ADHD. As a vocal advocate for mental health, she is also an ambassador for RUOK? Day.
Bianca also discovered she had endometriosis and adenomyosis after falling pregnant at 37-years-old and sadly miscarried.
For more than 10 years of trying to fall pregnant, Bianca accepted that she wouldn’t become a biological mother.
“Sometimes the detours are painful and what I’m learning is I can breathe and push through the pain and know that I can come out the other side and still be able to shine, and that is a really valuable lesson. It sucks that it takes to 50 to learn that,” she told QWeekend.

Where does Bianca Dye work?
Currently, Bianca works as a drive show host on Gold FM in the Gold Coast, Queensland.
But she has previously worked on various radio stations in Queensland including Sea FM and ARN’s 97. 3 FM. She’s also worked as a morning presenter on Sydney’s NOVA 96.9 show.
