Canadian icon Shania Twain was spotted out in Calgary this weekend at a venue fit for a country queen.
The legendary Twain popped by the downtown Calgary bar, Spanky’s Saloon, over the weekend for a casual night out enjoying the live music.
Twain shared her visit to the Nashville-inspired spot on her Instagram story, where she could be seen chatting and waving at the camera from the packed bar.
“When Shania Twain walks into your bar and casually posts about it,” Spanky’s said in an Instagram post.
Obviously, Twain is no stranger to Calgary, even taking the honour of the Calgary Stampede Parade Marshal and performing as part of the festivities earlier this year. Last summer, she was also spotted at an iconic Alberta eatery, the Chuckwagon Cafe in Diamond Valley.
As a star that’s about as close to Canadian royalty as we get, it’s exciting to see Twain out and enjoying Calgary.
