Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker picked among GQ’s ’50 Most Stylish People Alive’

Devin Booker’s fashion sense has earned him a selection among GQ’s “50 Most Style People Alive” published on Oct. 22.
The Phoenix Suns’ four-time All-Star is one of just two NBA players on GQ’s list. The other is the league’s reigning MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
This top 50 list was released the same day that the Suns open their season against the Sacramento Kings at Mortgage Matchup Center at 7 p.m., on Oct. 22.
GQ, which often profiles celebrities, athletes and cultural luminaries for their fashion sense, called Booker’s style “pure East LA.” Booker, who is part Black and Mexican, has an affinity for clothes that often pay homage to Chicano culture.
Booker, who is entering his 11th season with Phoenix after being drafted by the team in 2015.
The fashion outlet added its description of Booker’s usual attire as “stiff work pants, boxy plaid flannels, polished leather boots, and a garage full of old-school Chevys. It’s an easy, understated breath of fresh air in the logo-splashed NBA.”
