The Foo Fighters’ latest stadium tour will bring the band to Ford Field on Aug. 6, 2026 for its biggest Detroit show to date.
Dave Grohl and company will be joined by opener Queens of the Stone Age for the night, part of a 12-city stadium tour announced Thursday morning (Oct. 23). Detroit will be the second stop on the run, following an Aug. 4 opening night in Toronto.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 31 through Ticketmaster. Registration is open now for a presale window that will start at 10 a.m. Oct. 29.
Thursday’s tour announcement was accompanied by the release of the Foo Fighters single “Asking for a Friend,” described by Grohl as “a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear.”
The Ford Field concert will be the Foos’ first in Detroit since an October 2018 stop at Little Caesars Arena.
And it’s the second show on the books for the downtown stadium next summer: Ed Sheeran will perform there on Aug. 29 as part of his Loop Tour.
