Oxford United will be looking to bounce back from their abject display at Wrexham when Gary Rowett’s side travel to Sheffield Wednesday.
The U’s have lost just once from their last six meetings against the Owls and will hope to continue that good run against the division’s bottom club.

Matt Phillips – Thigh Injury
Winger Matt Phillips is still the only Oxford player missing after picking up a thigh injury during a draw against Leicester last month.
Oxford’s Returning Players
Filip Krastev – The Bulgarian international made a return to the squad against Derby but was an unused substitute. However, the tricky winger did come on in the defeat at Wrexham on Wednesday night.
Ole Romeny – The Indonesian international featured for the national side during the break but is yet to return to Oxford’s lineup. He hasn’t made the squad for the last two games so will be hoping to feature at Hillsborough.

Di’Shon Bernard – Knee Injury
Out since March, defender Di’Shon Bernard is still some time off from a return to the pitch.
Nathaniel Chalobah – Hamstring Injury
Former Chelsea and Fulham midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah picked up a hamstring injury in a defeat against Leicester back in August, although the 30-year-old is closer to a return.
Pierce Charles – Shoulder Injury
First-choice goalkeeper Pierce Charles has been absent since August with a shoulder injury. Head coach Henrik Pedersen believes he won’t be back until “November or December”.
Guilherme Siqueira – Achilles Tendon Injury
The Brazilian last featured for the first team in a Carabao Cup win over Leeds but is out for the season after picking up his injury in an U21s game.
Olaf Kobacki – Groin Injury
The Pole picked up a groin injury during the Carabao Cup loss at home against Grimsby last month, but he has been back in training.
Rio Shipston – Muscle Injury
Youngster Rio Shipston is sidelined for the foreseeable after picking up a muscle injury in training after the cup loss at Grimsby.
Ernie Weaver – Foot Injury
Young defender Ernie Weaver last featured in the 5-0 loss against Coventry. However, his foot injury is worse than initially feared and requires surgery.
Sheffield Wednesday’s Returning Players
Ethan Horvath – The American goalkeeper was sent off at Charlton but the Owls were able to bring in Joe Lumley on an emergency loan from Bristol City. He impressed in the defeat against Middlesbrough so could keep the shirt before returning to his parent club.
