Gogglebox favourite Sophie Sandiford has revealed her engagement, thrilling her devoted fanbase.
The television personality, who has appeared on the Channel 4 programme alongside sibling Pete Sandiford since 2017, used Instagram to disclose that partner Ben McKeown had popped the question.
Posting a photograph amid engagement balloons and images from upmarket spa Galgorm Resort in Northern Ireland, the pair wrote: “WE’RE ENGAGED” accompanied by a heart and ring emoji.
Sophie additionally featured a photograph of her breathtaking sapphire engagement ring, which sits on a silver band encircled by diamonds.
It comes as Sophie was also seen discussing her engagement during Friday’s Gogglebox episode, with sibling Pete teasing that she was “milking it”, reports the Mirror.

The TV personality’s 577K followers rushed to respond to the announcement, alongside her co-stars and various celebrity admirers.
Ex-Emmerdale actress Natalie Ann Jamieson commented: “Ahhhh congrats gorgeous girl!” whilst TOWIE personality Amy Childs added: “So happy for you xxxx”.
Additionally, Gogglebox colleagues Jenny And Lee posted from their shared account: “Congratulations to you both much love to ya Jenny and Lee x.”
One supporter remarked: “Unreal news! ! ! Congrats @sophiesandiford1 and @benmckeown9”, whilst another account posted: “Best news ever! So happy for you both” and a third contributed: “Ahhhh look at you both the best news! ! ! !” with heart emojis.

The pair began their romance in 2022 and Sophie recently disclosed her brother Pete’s initial remarks to Ben during a Gogglebox episode.
Sophie remembered: “You, first time meeting him ‘oh, I thought you’d be taller,’ as you looked up at him. And then saying ‘I thought you were at least 6ft’ when he is 6ft.”
Pete objected: “He doesn’t look 6ft!”, before declaring: “Lies, already built on lies!”.

This led Sophie to retort: “Just because he makes you look like one of the Borrowers!”
The revelation comes as the pair recently marked their three-year milestone.
Back in April, Sophie posted a snap of Ben, penning: “Best 3 years ever @benmckeown9” alongside a heart emoji.
Gogglebox continues on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
