PIERCE TWP., Ohio (WXIX) – One person is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Pierce Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on State Route 749 in Pierce Township around 3:40 p.m. Friday, authorities say.
Ohio State Highway Patrol says a west-bound pickup truck drifted off the road to the right, hitting two telephone poles before ending up in someone’s yard.
One woman who was not wearing a seatbelt died at the scene.
Two others were injured and taken to UC Medical Center.
The road is expected to be closed for two to three hours Friday afternoon.
