LINFIELD V BALLYMENA UTD MATCH PREVIEW

Linfield are back on home turf with Ballymena Utd the visitors to Windsor Park (3pm k.o. all ticket). The teams have met once this season with Ballymena winning 1-0 at The Showgrounds in September.

The Sky Blues come to Belfast sitting 6th in the table, looking for a positive result after losing their last 2 league games. Manager Jim Ervin has assembled a strong squad laced with experience, including midfielder Ben Kennedy, who has been pivotal to the team since signing from Crusaders in 2024.

It was a tough night for Linfield in midweek at Solitude as hosts Cliftonville won 4-1. David Healy will, however, be determined to turn round what has been a difficult week with a match winning performance from his team.
