Countdown to Kickoff
Rich Rodriguez and Sonny Dykes are renewing acquaintances tonight when Rodriguez’s West Virginia Mountaineers play host to Dykes’ TCU Horned Frogs.
The two coaches have met twice prior when they were coaching Pac-12 teams in 2013-14, Rodriguez at Arizona and Dykes at Cal.
The Wildcats claimed a 33-28 victory in Berkeley in 2013 and then rallied to defeat the Bears 49-45 on a Hail Mary touchdown pass at the end of the game in 2014 in Tucson.
