Do clocks turn back this weekend in Arizona? Here’s when daylight saving time ends

Trump and Musk weigh in about daylight savings time
Elon Musk ran a unscientific poll on X that revealed how some feel about a proposed end to daylight saving time.
- Daylight saving time doesn’t officially end until 2 a.m. Nov. 2, 2025.
- Arizona is one of two states that doesn’t observe daylight saving time.
The sun is setting earlier and it’s cooling off in Arizona, which means fall is here.
That also means its almost time for clocks to fall back. But before you start messing with your clock, there’s two things Arizonans need to know.
First, daylight saving time doesn’t officially end until 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
Second, Arizona doesn’t observe daylight saving time. It’s one of only two states that doesn’t fall back. Arizona observed daylight saving time until 1918 but ended it permanently in 1968 due to the heat, according to the Arizona Almanac. However, the Navajo Nation, which is in parts of Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, does follow daylight saving time.
