- Rookie Ollie Gordon took over kick return duties for Miami in Eskridge’s absence.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver and kick returner Dee Eskridge left the field with an injury and was carted to the locker room during the first half against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Eskridge was officially ruled out at halftime after the Dolphins announced he’d suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter.
Dolphins rookie Ollie Gordon returned a kickoff for Miami in Eskridge’s stead after the Falcons kicked a field goal.
Miami led Atlanta 17-3 at halftime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Dolphins are managing a number of injuries so far this season, including the loss of superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Additionally, the following players were listed as inactive for Sunday’s game against the Falcons:

- DB Elijah Campbell
- S Jordan Colbert
- TE Julian Hill
- WR Tahj Washington
- DT Zeek Biggers
- CB JuJu Brents
