Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos preview

No one could accuse the Dallas Cowboys of being boring this season as their combination of a free-scoring offence and a dreadful defence has led to them contesting some high-scoring shootouts and another could be in store when they visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The Cowboys rank first in the league for yards gained per game but last for yards conceded per game and that potent mix has led to results such as a 40-40 tie with the Green Bay Packers, a 40-37 win against the New York Giants and last week’s 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb returned to join George Pickens last week so Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has all his key weapons in place.

The Broncos are a stronger defensive side than many teams around the league but they too became embroiled in a wild contest last week, scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter to beat the stunned Giants by one point.

Fans should be treated to a cracking contest in Colorado and backing over 50.5 points appeals.
