Mike Vrabel reveals simple halftime message to Patriots en route to blowout win

The Patriots had another slow start against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon.
New England, once again, gave up a touchdown on the opening drive and settled for nine points — all via Andy Borregales field goals — going into halftime.
The Patriots had slim 9-7 lead, but Mike Vrabel revealed what kind of message he ad for his team going into the second half.
“We were winning the game, so I just told and keep playing,” the coach said. “I don’t know how many yards we had. I mean, those are stats. I look at the scoreboard, and we were winning.”
The Patriots opened things up in the third quarter with three consecutive touchdowns en route to their 32-13 win in Week 8.
Drake Maye continued to shine, completing 18 of his 24 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns.
The Patriots have now won five straight games and remain atop the AFC East.
“I’m also proud of the totality of the team, and I know there’s so much more to improve, but we got stops in the second half and we scored touchdowns,” Vrabel said. “And that’s what the difference in the game was.”
