MAFS UK’s Steven’s brother teases dramatic couple swap with surprising bride – and no, it’s not Julia-Ruth

It wouldn’t be Married At First Sight without a little couple swapping. Each year, there always seems to be one, and now Steven’s brother Marcus has hinted that Steven will be moving onto another bride.
At this week’s dinner party, dancer Julia-Ruth, 29, revealed that she finds investment banking manager Steven, 34, attractive. Last week, she said that she’d “marry” him in a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid.
Fans have since speculated that the pair will couple swap, especially as her marriage with Divarni doesn’t seem to be going too well. There’s even rumours swirling that they’ll kiss – which Marcus was quick to shut down. However, he didn’t deny that there was going to be a couple swap with his brother…

Commenting on a TikTok video by gossip account JetSetGypsea about the recent drama, Marcus, who was the best man at Steven and Nelly’s wedding, said: “Sorry to disappoint, but no kiss is coming with Steven and she isn’t his wife swap either. Can’t comment on the rest.”

The comment comes after Nelly claimed on Tuesday night’s episode that Julia-Ruth, was only staying on the show so that she could be with Steven during partner swap week.
Nelly said that the dancer would “laugh a little too loudly” around Steven or “hold the eye contact for a little too long”.

“This is not right at all,” JR responded. “Everyone was doing a ‘Who X, Y and Z.’ There was a group of us. It blows my mind. I haven’t had more than six conversations with Steven. The honesty box came up, so I answered it. Ok, fine. I dug myself a grave but it’s… I can’t do this anymore.”
She then whispered to her husband: “It’s just not f***ing fair. It’s just too much.”
Based on Steven’s brother’s recent comments and JR’s response, it doesn’t sound like anything happens between them. But could Steven and Nelly’s marriage about to be over? And who is this new bride?
Married At First Sight UK airs on E4 four nights a week.
