EastEnders’ Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) points the finger of blame at an unexpected Walford resident when someone starts tormenting her next week.
Since Zoe’s return to Albert Square last month, she’s dropped bombshell after bombshell about the 20 years she was away.
The latest follows on Thursday as Zoe staggers her mum Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), with a revelation that changes everything.
But the news becomes public knowledge next week when Kat blurts out the truth during a quiz night at The Vic, leading to Zoe becoming the target of unwanted attention.
In the aftermath of Kat revealing Zoe’s secret, mother and daughter clash once more, and Kat gives Zoe an ultimatum, prompting her to decide to leave Walford.

As Kat and her husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) discuss the night’s events, they are interrupted by Zoe, who accuses Kat of smashing a photo of them both. When Kat denies it, Zoe questions who is responsible.
The following day, everyone at The Vic is gearing up for Halloween, but a burst sewer pipe in the barrel store of The Vic causes havoc and leads to the discovery of a mysterious VHS tape from 1980s.
As the residents gather for a night at the pub, Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) arrives with a video player for the tape, but Kat thinks better of playing it, worried its content will upset Zoe.

Meanwhile, Zoe has become increasingly paranoid about the broken photo, and believing she’s worked out who is behind it, she confronts old enemy Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) before Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) steps in to diffuse the situation.
Anthony does his best to support Zoe, but he offends her in the process, and she then storms off.
Things then escalate when she returns to discover the VHS footage playing. Distressed by its contents, she throws everyone out of The Vic.
Convinced someone is out to get her, Zoe’s suspicions then turn to Anthony, and she unexpectedly accuses him.
Could lovely Dr Anthony really be behind Zoe’s torment, or a more dangerous threat lurking in the Halloween shadows…?
EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 27 October at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
