A terrifying ‘masterpiece’ boasting a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes is available to watch for free this week, just in time for Halloween.
Barbarian is a 2022 American horror flick penned and helmed by Zach Cregger in his debut as both solo writer and director.
Featuring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, and Justin Long, the storyline follows a woman who discovers that her booked rental property has been mistakenly double-reserved by a bloke, unaware of the sinister secrets lurking within the house.
Zach Cregger drew inspiration from the non-fiction book The Gift of Fear, which urges women to trust their instincts and not dismiss the unconscious warning signs that emerge in their everyday encounters with men.
He set out to craft a single thirty-page sequence that would weave in as many of these warning signals as possible, reports the Express.
