A man is in hospital in a critical condition after reportedly crashing into a lamp post in Hull.

Police say the 26-year-old was riding a motorcycle on Noddle Hill Way before colliding with the post.

Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage to come forward as they continue to investigate.

A Humberside police spokesperson said, “Officers are appealing for information following a single-vehicle collision on Noddle Hill Way in Hull at around 5.55pm on Saturday, 25th October 2025.

“It is reported that a 26-year-old man riding a red motorcycle was involved in a collision with a lamp post near to the junction of Hucknall Garth.

“He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the collision. Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage, or was in the area around the time and may have seen the motorcycle prior to the collision is urged to contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 370 of 25 October 2025.”
