When you’re just about at the top of the pyramid in your sport, people are bound to pick your brain for the ins and outs of the game. When it’s your own partner, things take a different turn altogether.
That much was true for Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, who recently shared her experience of taking tennis lessons from the World No. 4. The couple has been together for over five years, having started their relationship in early 2020.
Riddle is a social media influencer focused primarily on fashion and tennis. Since 2023, she has been more involved in the tennis world, often hosting a short video series titled “Wimbledon Threads,” which explores fashion at the grass-court Grand Slam.

In a recent interview with GQ, Riddle spoke about her experience playing with Fritz and taking tennis lessons from him. She shared that after only two lessons, the World No. 4 tried to teach her how to play with topspin, even though she was still having difficulty getting the ball over the net at that point.
“I’m like, “hell no.” I do two lessons, and he’s trying to teach me topspin. I’m like, I can’t even get the ball over the net,” Riddle said.
On the tennis side of things, Fritz most recently competed at the 2025 Swiss Indoors. He was the top seed and defeated wild card Valentin Vacherot in the first round, winning with a scoreline of 4-6, 7-6(4), 7-5. His tournament ended in the second round, when he lost to Ugo Humbert 3-6, 4-6.
Looking ahead, the World No. 4 is scheduled to next compete in the 2025 Paris Masters, which will take place from October 27 to November 2, 2025, at the indoor hard courts of the La Défense Arena in Paris.
Last year, at the ATP Masters 1000 hard-court tournament in Paris, Fritz was seeded fifth. He began his campaign in the second round after receiving a first-round bye, where he faced Jack Draper and lost 6-7(6), 6-4, 4-6.

Fritz and Vukic have met three times on the ATP Tour, with the World No. 4 winning all three matchups. Their most recent encounter was in the second round of the 2025 Citi DC Open, which Fritz won 6-3, 6-2.
On the other hand, Fritz and Atmane have played each other twice on the ATP Tour, with each player winning one match. Their latest encounter was in the fourth round of the 2025 Cincinnati Open, where the Frenchman emerged victorious with a score of 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.
The winner of the second-round match between Fritz and either Vukic or Atmane at the 2025 Paris Masters will advance to face either the 13th seed Alexander Bublik, Alexei Popyrin, Corentin Moutet, or Reilly Opelka in the third round of the tournament.
