Walmart’s Black Friday: Here are dates for early sales, store hours

Traditionally, Black Friday was the super-busy shopping time that occurred the day after Thanksgiving.

That’s no longer the case.

Instead, a single sales day has been replaced with a season of special events that start early in November.

That’s the case for Walmart, which has announced its 2025 Black Friday plans.

“For years, Walmart has owned Black Friday — and this year we’re proving why,” Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner said in a statement. “We’re dropping up to 60 percent off top brands and offering thousands of deals under $20, making it clear: nobody does low prices like we do.”
