Celebrity Traitors viewers ‘reveal’ tonight’s murder after spotting major clue

The Celebrity Traitors ended on a major cliffhanger with Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont and Nick Mohammed at risk.

The Celebrity Traitors fans think they’ve worked out who is getting murdered in tonight’s episode.

The likes of Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, Sir Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed and Tom Daley have been taking part in Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow over recent weeks, and they’ve proven to be a truly iconic cast.

From Alan’s general melodrama and erupting into fits of giggles, Celia farting during a challenge, and Tom’s savage side-eye to Kate, there have been some Bafta-worthy moments.

So far, all three original Traitors, Alan, Jonathan and Cat, have gone unnoticed, with Faithful numbers dwindling and just a handful of players left in the game.

Tonight, as we near the final, fans think they’ve predicted who will leave the competition after a tense cliffhanger which saw Lucy Beaumont, Nick and Kate put at risk.

One of them is set to come face-to-face with the three Traitors, while the other two will make it through another night.

The final seconds of last week’s episode saw them turning around and gasping, leaving viewers guessing who was waiting behind them.

Though Lucy’s reaction was hidden by her scarf, and Kate appeared to give nothing away, Ted Lasso star Nick almost smiled, leaving viewers thinking he was relieved to see Claudia.

Fans pondered on Reddit, with one writing: “I think it’s Lucy because of how much screen time she got today. And Nick’s shocked face at the end of the episode is probably because he was relieved he saw Claudia, not that the traitors were there.”

Another agreed: “Nick’s reaction seemed like a “wow I can’t believe it’s Claudia” to me.”

Someone else said: “I feel like they wouldn’t have kept Nick’s gasp in if he was the one going. I really hope he’s not leaving, because he’s definitely my favourite! I want him to win.”

One person replied to that comment, saying: “I think the gasp is a fake out. They did the same thing in the US season. One of the players gasping making it look like they got murdered and then they were fine next time.”

Another predicted: “I imagine it’ll be Lucy. Nick’s now got suspicion on him and Kate’s no danger, whereas Lucy has started speaking up and has vague suspicions on Alan. Getting rid of her would be the clearest path.”

Someone else agreed: “I think Lucy. Nick has made himself look suspicious and Kate isn’t a threat at all.”

One fan picked up another clue, claiming: “Lucy her eyes were wandering whereas Kate and Nick’s eyes were in the one place, she was possibly scanning the Traitors faces.”

This comes after other viewers speculated that Alan would become the next celebrity banished at the roundtable, after a major blunder may have put him in the firing line.

During a challenge, Alan’s team secured the highly-desired shields, leaving them safe from murder at night. Of course, as a Traitor he had no risk of being murdered, so was quick to forget about his shield when it came up around the roundtable, leaving Joe beyond exasperated and Lucy suddenly suspicious.

“Alan forgetting he has a shield is pure comedy,” one viewer wrote on X, while one commented: “Alan’s looking shady af for that.”

Another said: “Alan forgetting he’s got a shield, then celebrating the fact he has one, despite being a traitor since day one who cannot be murdered. Give the man a damn BAFTA for his performance.”

“Alan forgetting he had a shield at the round table I’m obsessed with how he can get away with anything,” someone else said.

Another added: “I think Alan has just massively c**ked up there, forgetting that shield.”

The Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
