AP Race Call: Texas voters approve constitutional amendment requiring US citizenship to vote

WASHINGTON (AP) — Texas voters approved a constitutional amendment on Tuesday that states people must be citizens of the United States to vote in Texas.

U.S. citizenship is already required to register to vote in Texas. The Associated Press declared the measure passed at 10:31 p.m. EST.
