Blake Snell wife and enormous net worth after joining Dodgers

Blake Snell is back in the World Series, this time as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, as the team looks to win another title without the services of one of its stars.

Snell made his debut with the Tampa Bay Rays in April 2016, reaching the World Series in 2020 and was traded to the San Diego Padres in December of that year. The lefty spent three seasons in San Diego before signing a two-year, $62 million contract with the San Francisco Giants with an opt-out after one season.

Capitalizing on a stellar season in San Francisco, Snell opted out of his contract and signed a lucrative five-year pact with the Dodgers. In his first season in Los Angeles, the ace was an integral part of the Dodgers’ success, with the matchup between Los Angeles and the Toronto Blue Jays having fans relive Kendrick Lamar’s beef with Drake.

Considering how the Dodgers are coming into the World Series as a juggernaut, the Blue Jays have their work cut out for them as Toronto trots out rookie Trey Yesavage to set the tone early in the series.

Meanwhile, Snell will be on the mound for Los Angeles as the Dodgers look to vanquish the Blue Jays to win their second straight title.

The 32-year-old signed a five-year, $182 million contract with the Dodgers in November 2024, which included a $52 million signing bonus. His deal also features a club option in 2030 worth $10 million, and Snell officially will be an unrestricted free agent in 2031, when he is 38 years old.

Before landing in Los Angeles, Snell signed a two-year, $62 million contract with the Giants, though he opted out of the final year to join the Dodgers. Prior to his stints in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Snell played in San Diego and Tampa Bay, signing a five-year $50 million extension with the Rays in 2019 before being traded to the Padres just over a year and a half later.

Overall, Snell has made over $144 million in his career. What’s more, the lefty is set to make $60 million in deferred money starting from 2035, when he is 42 years old, to 2046, when he turns 53, per Spotrac. His net worth is estimated to be around $50 million.

As Snell prepares for his time to shine on the biggest stage in baseball, he will do so with his partner, Haeley Snell, by his side. The Snells first made their relationship official in 2020, taking to social media to announce it.

In June 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a son, with Blake Snell proposing to Haeley Snell in December 2024. The two were married just weeks later, and they welcomed their second child in August 2025.

Aside from being the mother of the baseball star’s children, Haeley Snell is an entrepreneur and a graduate of USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, according to PEOPLE.
