The first trial of the exclusive contract dispute between the group Newzins and the agency Adore will be sentenced.
The Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Department 41 (Chief Judge Chung Hoi-il) will hold a sentencing date for Adore’s exclusive contract validation lawsuit against the five members of Newgens on the morning of the 30th.
Newzins and Adore have been in exclusive contract disputes since November last year. At the time, Newzins held an emergency press conference and notified Adore of the termination of the exclusive contract due to the “crash of trust” and said it would engage in independent activities under the new activity name NZ.
Then, Audor filed a lawsuit against Newzins on December 3 last year to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, saying, “Just because you unilaterally claim that trust has been broken cannot be a reason for termination.” On January 6, he also applied for a ban on preserving the status of an agency and signing an advertising contract.
As the court accepted Odor’s request for an injunction in March, the red light was on Newgens’ activities, and the conflict between the two sides continued in the main lawsuit.
Newzins and Adore went through two mediation procedures, but failed to reach an agreement, and were eventually judged by the court on the same day.

Among them, Min Hee-jin, former CEO of A-Door, called “New Jin’s Mom,” drew attention on the 16th after it was found that he established a new entertainment agency, Ooak, headquartered in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The registration of the corporation, where former CEO Min is listed as the only in-house director, lists celebrity management agency, music production, record production, music and record distribution, brand management agency, and advertising agency for business purposes.
As the New Jeans members have expressed their desire to be with former CEO Min Hee-jin (who left Dorr) several times during the previous trial, it is speculated that Min’s “OK” will become a bird nest if he wins the lawsuit.
However, the prevailing view in the legal profession is that it will not be easy for Newzins to win. Since the court cited Adore’s provisional injunction earlier, it is analyzed that the same legal logic is likely to be applied in the main lawsuit.
In this case, Newzins must appeal or remain a member of Adore until 2029 when his contract expires.
