Paul Skenes can’t stop blushing as girlfriend Olivia Dunne shows off playful dance moves after cozy NYC date
Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes is making the most of his time away from the diamond as his team’s MLB season ended last month after failing to qualify for the postseason.
Skenes, who was vacationing with his girlfriend Olivia Dunne in Italy earlier this month, featured in a TikTok post from the former LSU gymnast. The two-time All-Star pitcher was seen blushing in the clip as Dunne shared her playful moves while lip-syncing to the song “The Boy Is Mine.”

Dunne’s message seemingly took a dig at MLB fans who would ask about Skenes’ whereabouts in the comments of her social media posts.
The two-time All-Star pitcher met the former gymnast during their time together at LSU. While Dunne was with their gymnastics team, Skenes led the LSU rotation and helped the team to their first College World Series title in more than a decade in 2023.
Dunne, who announced her retirement from gymnastics after completing five years with the LSU Tigers, cheered for Skenes from the stands on his starts during the regular season.
After the Pirates finished with a losing record for a seventh consecutive season, Olivia Dunne shared an Instagram post last month featuring images from her time with Paul Skenes throughout the season.

Paul Skenes named Outstanding Pitcher of the season by MLBPA after historic Pirates season
Although the Pirates posted an underwhelming record for a second consecutive season with Skenes, the second-year pitcher posted historic numbers for the franchise.
He posted a MLB-best 1.97 ERA in 32 starts with 216 strikeouts in 187 2/3 innings. Despite his stellar performances, he didn’t receive the backing from the offense, finishing with a 10-10 record.
However, the Pirates pitcher’s outstanding sophomore season was recognized by the MLB Players Association on Wednesday as he received the National League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
“The best on the bump! Congrats to Paul Skenes on being named the @MLBPA Players Choice Awards NL Outstanding Pitcher of the Year,” Pirates wrote on X.
Skenes is also the front-runner for the prestigious NL Cy Young award after his stellar season on the mound.
