Lexie Hull has spent two more years on the Indiana Fever than Caitlin Clark, but the pair have been inseparable ever since — their “tres leches” trio outfits with Sophie Cunningham regularly went viral on social media.
Hull enters the 2025 offseason as a restricted free agent, and she started her fall with a trip back to her alma mater: Stanford. “Lexie’s back,” the Stanford women’s basketball team posted. Clark wasn’t amused in the comment section. “Real inspiring Lexie,” she wrote.
The Fever were one win away from the 2025 WNBA finals despite Clark missing most of the season — and all of the playoffs — with a litany of injuries.

Hull stepped up in her absence, absorbing a share of the available minutes at guard. The Stanford product averaged career highs across the board in 2025, including 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 27.0 minutes a game.
She was especially strong in the playoffs, upping her average to 10.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 33.5 minutes a night during the postseason.

Hull, 26, was an NCAA champion and a three-time All-Pac 12 selection while at Stanford (she was also a two-time Pac-12 All-Defensive Team choice and was the 2022 Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year).
She gave some words of wisdom to the current Stanford players.
“I would say just enjoy this. From people who have played professionally, you don’t get this…time with best friends in an environment like this where you’re together so much. Enjoy practice, enjoy training tables,” she said.

“Enjoy it all, these four years, five years, if you get six, whatever, these are the most fun years you’ll truly have playing basketball. So enjoy this, take advantage of it,” Hull continued.
“You have a lot of potential, a lot of upside and just know that you have an entire sisterhood rooting and cheering for you guys and supporting you from afar. So just grateful for this gift to be able to come back.”

Clark, meanwhile, will start her offseason at The ANNIKA pro-am golf tournament in Tampa Bay for a second consecutive year.
“I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark said when the news was announced.
The tournament is set for No. 12 at the Pelican Golf Club. Clark’s draw helped the tournament get broadcast last year.
