Floyd Roger Myers Jr. – who was known for portraying a young Will Smith on the hit series The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air – has passed away at the age of 42 on Wednesday.

A former child star, best known for his role in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has tragically passed away.
The actor’s devastated mother, Renee Trice, confirmed the sad news to TMZ, also revealing the cause of death.
She shared that her son Floyd, who had played a young Will Smith in the series, died in the early hours of Wednesday following a heart attack at his home in Maryland.

Renee Trice informed TMZ: “Myers passed away in the wee hours of Wednesday morning from a heart attack at his home in Maryland.”
She revealed to TMZ that he had suffered three previous heart attacks over the last three years and that she had spoken to her son just the night before.
Upon hearing the news of Floyd’s passing on Wednesday, fans flocked to social media to express their sorrow.

One wrote: “That’s sad news so young felt like life still had chapters left for him,” while another commented, “42 is far too young… sending love to his family and fans.”, reports the Mirror.
Heartbreakingly, just weeks before his death, he celebrated his daughter’s 10th birthday, sharing a post on Instagram with the caption: “Happy 10th birthday to my baby girl! ! The life of the party and always a bright light in the room! !
“I’m so happy to be your father can’t wait what the next 10yrs will look@like watching you grow! ! I love you and we going up all weekend baby girl! ! Daddy’s TyTy”.
In his personal life, the late actor was a father of four, as stated by a GoFundMe page set up by his sister, Tyree Trice, to help cover funeral costs.
In a GoFundMe page set up by his family, Myers is fondly remembered as “a devoted father, loving brother, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and warmth touched everyone he met.
“Roger leaves behind his four beautiful children – Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox – and our loving family is now facing the unimaginable loss of someone who meant everything to us,” the GoFundMe page states.
