Smriti Mandhana becomes second Indian to register 1000 runs against Australia in women’s ODIs

India opener Smriti Mandhana became the second player from the country to register 1000 runs against Australia in women’s ODIs.
The left-handed batter reached this milestone during India’s Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 semifinal on Thursday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Smriti, who’s the fastest to reach the four-digit figure against the Aussies, joins former India captain Mithali Raj, who has 1123 runs in 37 innings, in this list. She also became the 10th player overall to reach this feat.
