Manchester United interested in signing Kerim Alajbegovic
Under Ineos, United are always on the lookout for talented prospects who have the potential to one day become a first-team player.
Kerim Alajbegovic fits this bill, with the Bosnian already shining for RB Salzburg in Austria, and now United have paid attention.
It is according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Ben Heckner, that United have joined Chelsea and Porto in monitoring the young winger’s progress.
One potential spanner in the works is that Bayer Leverkusen have a buy-back option for the record breaking winger.
Alajbegovic is the youngster ever Bosnian international and goalscorer, which highlights what an impressive talent he is.
Where Ruben Amorim might use Kerim Alajbegovic
While Alajbegovic is a winger by trade, his 6ft frame, defensive strengths and athleticism off the ball could make him a perfect wing-back for Amorim’s system.
Alajbegovic has four goals and one assist in seven starts this season, which demonstrates that he has the quality going forward that Amorim demands from his wing-backs.

- Diego Leon
- Harry Amass*
This could add to the growing the depth in the position, however, there will need to be questions asked as to whether Alajbegovic is an upgrade on Diego Leon or Harry Amass, or if he would just clog the pipeline.
No doubt he is a good footballer and Amorim could transform him into a good wing-back if the club decide to make it happen.
