Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce has delighted fans after sharing a rare snap of his family.
Gareth shot to fame when he joined the long-running ITV soap in 2020 as Todd Grimshaw, replacing Bruno Langley. And during his stint on the show, he has played a part in several big moments.
Especially in the past twelve months, as in June, his mum Eileen (Sue Cleaver) left the cobbles after 25 years for a new life in Thailand. He also started dating Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) this year.
However, Todd is involved in a new storyline that is exploring abuse in a same-sex partnership involving a clearly troubled Theo.

Not only has Theo’s behaviour become increasingly controlling recently, but the abuse has also escalated to physical violence a few times. And earlier this month, it was announced that the soap is set to air a special episode focused on Theo and Todd.
Away from Coronation Street though, Todd actor Gareth is married to his partner Amy Lee Pierce, whom he tied the knot with in 2014. They are parents to a daughter.
Gareth’s Instagram shows that he is a dedicated family man, often giving fans a glimpse into his home life on his profile. And recently, Gareth delighted fans when he celebrated a “first” in his family.

Taking to his Instagram, Gareth shared a video of him and his wife and daughter at his daughter’s “first” ever concert. The family attended American ban Haim’s gig – and they had the time of their lives.
In one clip, Amy and their daughter could be seen cheering the band on. Writing the caption, Gareth said: “Thanks to@haimtheband @livenationuk @utilitaarenacardiff. She’s done some festivals, but our girl’s first proper gig experience was AMAZING.”

Fans were left gushing over Gareth’s rare home life update. In the comments section, one person said: “She is having the time of her life.” Someone else added: “Living her best life.” A third chimed in: “Looks awesome.”
Gareth makes an effort to keep his family life private, avoiding sharing pictures of their faces on social media, especially that of his young daughter. However, from his posts, it is clear that they are a close-knit family.
