The finale episode was originally scheduled to broadcast on Halloween, Friday October 31. However, alterations to BBC’s programming schedule mean that the final episode of the series will now transmit on Thursday, November 6 instead.
The episode synopsis states: “As the ultimate game of deception and trust draws to a close, the stakes have never been higher as the celebrity players face their final, explosive mission.
“With the prize fund complete, will the pressure of winning cloud anyone’s vision? Will the famous faithful banish all the traitors to secure victory, or will the traitors manage to deceive until the bitter end?”.
The celebrity contestants are vying for a maximum of £100,000, with the final amount depending on their performance in the various challenges.
Unlike the regular version, the stars won’t pocket the money – instead, all winnings will be donated to their chosen charities.
If the Faithful succeed in eliminating all the Traitors, they’ll divide the prize money amongst their chosen charities. However, if even a single traitor remains at the end, they’ll snatch the entire jackpot for their own charity.
