DCS Dave Cook is dragged back into another reinvestigation of Daniel Morgan’s murder after new intelligence comes to light forcing him to work with an unlikely ally from within the tabloids in the form of The Sun journalist Mike Sullivan, whose articles bring forward another new lead. As the caseload increases, Dave’s marriage becomes strained, his health suffers, and he believes he might again be under surveillance as he pushes to get the case across the line
